matty dropped his mk2 off for his bay to be freshly rebuilt with some subtle changes watch this space

 

 seam sealer removed from the turrets and inside of the legs bead blasted to get rid of the rust

Well the engine arrived painted, the running gear sent off for shotblasting and powder coating, so while that was being done we set about removing all the old stonechip/underseal from underneath the car to lay fresh down for 10yrs more protection.
Zinc plating kit purchased for zincing all the nuts and bolts for the running gear so it is all like new, chrome parts arrived from platers so the build up and fitment begins.

exhaust system completed, new custom alloy radiator finished, twin 45 carbs and hidden linkage fitted to engine.

just a blog to say nip out and buy the new pvw magazine this month for our feature on pages 24-25. thanks very much to pvw for putting us in the magazine and taking the time to put it together for us.

polo 6n 1.8t build

Polo 6n 1.8t engine conversion, came to us as a 1.4 8v and we have introduced an audi tt 225bhp 1.8t engine into the chassis. Brake upgrade front and rear

well we have now done 400+miles in it and everything is starting to bed in nicely, the smile on my face never goes away when your in a car that ways 900kg and has 225bhp+ under your right foot.

The look on peoples faces when you drive through a village is another one aswell, stealth exterior and unsuspecting people. run in to 500miles and then check everything over before the customer can take it away.

mk2 smooth

 Mk2 golf gti, purchased for a customer as a full on project. This build will involve smooth body panels and bay, vr6 automatic engine build and custom 2 tone leather interior.
